Raised in Washington DC, an inspired Producer/Rap Artist demanding to make a name for himself, Derrick Payton AKA "3" gained interest in  the music industry when he was 12 years old. He was heavily inspired by his favorite artist "Jay-Z," and looked up to his legacy as an artist and substantial business man.  During high school he found passion not only for the music itself but for sound engineering. He soon attended Bowie State University for Music Technology where he learned how to play the piano, compose music, and sound engineer. As of today, he resides in ATL as an freelance photographer, audio engineer, and cinematographer as well as pursuing his own music career.
